Following the meeting of the Council of University Doctoral Studies, approving the study places occupied (budget and with fee) – what was held on the day of July 27, 2026, the final validated results of the 2026 Admission Sessions are available here.
– Candidates admitted to a state-funded place must complete the place confirmation form and submit the following documents to the Secretariat of ISDS-UB: original academic diplomas and transcripts of records, a copy of their ID card, a certified copy of their birth certificate (and marriage certificate, if applicable), three 3/4 size photographs, and proof of payment of the enrollment fee (50 lei). For candidates admitted to the budget, the study diplomas (baccalaureate, bachelor’s and master’s, along with the matriculation sheets) will be handed over to the secretariat and will remain in the student’s file throughout the entire period of studies.
– Candidates admitted to a fee-paying place must complete the place confirmation form and submit the following documents to the Secretariat of ISDS-UB: original academic diplomas and transcripts of records, a copy of their ID card, a certified copy of their birth certificate (and marriage certificate, if applicable), three 3/4 size photographs, and proof of payment of the enrollment fee (50 lei).
Simple copies and certified copies of documents are made at the faculty. Candidates are requested to bring the original documents with them or, if this is not possible, to submit legalized copies. Certified copies cannot be made from legalized copies.
The enrollment fee (applicable only for Romanian and EU citizens)
Payment methods:
- Via the platform https://po.unibuc.ro/servicii_studenti.php (select “Faculty of Interdisciplinary Studies” and “1st Year Enrollment Fee”) – confirmation is instantaneous; (select, in the application, for the Faculty field: Studii Interdisciplinare/Interdisicplinary Studies),
- Via bank transfer to the faculty’s account (Beneficiary: University of Bucharest. Tax ID: 4505502. IBAN: RO15RNCB0076010452620426. Bank: BCR Sector 6) – In this case, payment confirmation cannot be provided immediately, but rather starting from the banking day following the payment date.
The confirmations will take place on July 30, 2026 between 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM, and on July 31, 2026 between 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM, at the ISDS-UB secretariat, 1st floor (Transilvaniei Street, no. 6).
Non-EU candidates are requested to e-mail us the confirmation form and maintain contact with the External Relations team; once the Letter of Acceptance is issued (possible, in September), they are expected at the ISDS-UB offices to sign the study contract.
The UB Admission Regulations for 2026 stipulate in Art. 31 (1): “Candidates declared admitted—following confirmation of their place and payment of the enrollment fee—are enrolled in doctoral studies based on the results of the competition for the respective academic year, by decision of the UB Rector.”
The registration fee is 50 lei, as approved by the Senate (link: https://unibuc.ro/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/Taxe-pentru-diferite-servicii-oferite-studentilor-si-absolventilor-2026.pdf ).
