Elections will be held for the position of director, council member (2 positions for professors), external council member (2 positions) and council member (2 positions for students) for the 2021-2026 mandate. The fallowing calendar will be applicable:
1) Submission of applications: November 26- December 3, 2021 (last day until 14.00), by email sent to the ISDS secretariat (isds@unibuc.ro).
2) Elections:
7-8 December 2021, online. Details on the voting system will be sent via email before 7 December.Confidentiality of the vote is guaranteed.

- Validation of election results by the C.U.D.S.: December 14, 2021
- Validation of the elections by the Senate of the University of Bucharest:December 15, 2021

For the positions of Director of the Doctoral School and member of the Council of the Doctoral School, PhD supervisors have the right to elect and be elected as full PhD supervisors of the University of Bucharest. Applications must be accompanied by a CV and a form that verifies that the minimum standards for habilitation are met. The application for the position of Director of the Doctoral School will be accompanied by a management plan.
For the position of external member of the doctoral school board, persons from outside the doctoral school who hold a doctoral degree and have scientific activity with significant international recognition may apply. It is recommended that these persons are not PhD supervisors at a doctoral school of another IOSUD in Romania. Candidates for these positions will be chosen by the PhD supervisors of the University of Bucharest. The application for the position of external member of the doctoral school board must be accompanied by a CV.
For the positions of doctoral student member of the Council of the Doctoral School, all doctoral students have the right to elect and be elected, including those enrolled on October 1st, 2021 and those who have submitted their thesis but for whom the ministerial order for the award of the doctoral title has not yet been issued on the date of the elections. A doctoral supervisor and a doctoral student supervised by him/her, or 2 doctoral students with the same doctoral supervisor, cannot be members of the doctoral school council at the same time.
